Congratulations to all performers who took part in this year’s Provincial Festival Finals! What an incredible three days we had watching you all perform. Every single one of you should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved, and for the work you have put in to get to this stage of the Island Kiwanis Music Festivals.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year’s festival such a great celebration of Prince Edward Island’s youth and amateur musicians … adjudicators, collaborative pianists, teachers, families, volunteers, sponsors, donors, venues, and more. Each one is an important cog in the wheel, without whom our festivals could not happen.
Keep watching this space for information about the National Festival, coming up in July, where we have performers representing PEI at all levels, and also the Youth Legacy Concert in 2 weeks time at the Under the Spire Festival in Kensington, where our UTS Award winners will be performing.
There will also be lots of exciting things happening soon in preparation for next year, when we will celebrating our 80th year of music festivals on PEI!! Keep watching for announcements about events and ways that you can get involved in the celebrations.
We are still looking for donations to help our National Festival performers cover the cost of their fees in June.
