***NEW IN 2026***
Changes this year include:
– No National Festival Classes
Performers who wish to be considered for recommendation to the National Festival, MUST check that they have entered the correct number and type of classes, and appropriate repertoire in their local festival PLUS check the appropriate box on the entry to select the pathway they wish to follow.
– String disciplines merged into one (no specific classes for violin, cello, etc)
– Additional classes for instrumental ensembles

How to enter
- Read the Rules and Regulations document, and download it for future reference.
- Read your local festival syllabus addendum (below) to find out specific requirements and fees for your area.
- Check the entry deadline for your local festival.
- Click on your discipline in the syllabus listings below to view and / or download class details.
- If you hope to progress to the Provincial Festival (28 – 31 May 2026), make sure that you select appropriate material and have entered enough classes to make you eligible for consideration.
- If you hope to be recommended to progress through to the National Festival ( July 2026), make sure that you have read the appropriate pages in the National Festival Syllabus and have selected material and classes that make you eligible for consideration.
- (For Kings, East Prince, and West Prince only) Read the Online Entry Form Guidance Notes (To be published closer to the entry date)
- Enter your Local festival using their online entry form (Available here in January)
- Pay your entry fee (details of how to do this is in the Fees and how to pay them documents).
