About the Kings County Music Festival

 

Kings County Music Festival has been happening in eastern PEI since the late 1940s. Thousands of young people have taken part in this annual spring festival week over the years. Solos, duets, small and larger groups – singing, piano, instruments, choirs and bands are invited to enter by February 15^th.

 

Volunteers plan and carry out our festival sessions and highly trained and skilled adjudicators offer verbal and written feedback to encourage and fine tune these performances. Our active fund raising and awards committees present generous prizes to many of our participants at our Awards Concert at the end of festival week.

 

After being on line for the past few years due to the pandemic, we are looking forward to “live” performances for our May 1 to 6, 2023 Kings County Music Festival!
